Bluegrass Center for Autism requires that each family tour the age appropriate facility to see our programing in action. They will meet with the Clinical Director of that program to understand the details of our services. If the family wants to move forward, we will schedule an informal evaluation for their child (free of charge). If appropriate placement is available, the child or young adult will begin receiving center bases services. In the event that there is not an available opening, the child or young adult will be placed in our waiting pool. There may also be opportunity for Community Coordinator intervention if deemed necessary.
BCA requires a $500 non-refundable deposit which is applied directly to the client’s account.
STEPS TO ENROLL
Begin by emailing Bluegrass Center for Autism to set up an appointment to tour the appropriate campus.
Kosair Charities East Campus (ages 3-11) please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Mid City Campus (ages 12-21) please email email@example.com
The family is contacted for enrollment when an opening occurs.
After you have completed your tour, you will need to set up an assessment for your child with our staff. You must have your child assessed with our staff – no other assessments will substitute. This gives Bluegrass Center for Autism staff insight into your child in order to know which of our teams he/she may best be suited.
Once there is an available opening, BCA requires a $1,000 non-refundable deposit which is applied to the client’s annual fee. Necessary forms and other assessments (ABLLS) required for the application must be completed before attending BCA.
Once your assessment is finished, please complete and submit the Registration Packet to the appropriate campus.
